THE WILD GOOSE LAKE 南方车站的聚会 - LP

Soundtrack Magazine proudly presents the vinyl release of the original score by indie musician turned composer B6 for the 2019 neon-noir THE WILD GOOSE LAKE. Directed by Golden Bear-winning DIAO Yinan (BLACK COAL, THIN ICE) and starring HU Ge (Blossom Shanghai) and GWEI Lun-mei (BLACK COAL, THIN ICE, BLUE GATE CROSSING), the film unfolds over a sultry summer in a southern Chinese city, portraying a redemption story between a fugitive wanted by the law and those who become entangled in his desperate escape, exploring themes of good and evil. The Wild Goose Lake was an official selection for the main competition section at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival in 2019.

This marks B6's first score for a theatrically released feature film, where he employed a wide range of richly textured, retro synth colors to complement the film’s visual aesthetic of light and shadow, providing a distinct auditory experience to this rare example of a Chinese neo-noir film. Besides including all the music B6 composed for the film, the album also features new or previously unused tracks added for this fifth-anniversary release. The album is mastered by Swedish music engineer Thomas Eberger, with all packaging design entrusted to Taiwanese artist Yooowen.
 
This is a limited edition of 300 units, with stamping numbering.
